The EverSolo DAC-Z6 is a high-fidelity digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a built-in headphone amplifier. It’s designed for audiophiles who want high-resolution audio, flexible input options, and a premium yet compact build. The chassis is made from aluminum alloy, giving it a sleek, durable feel. A large 3″ color LCD screen on the front provides a clear and intuitive interface, including various VU-meter modes.
It supports both wired and wireless sources: you can connect via USB-B, USB-C, optical (Toslink), or coaxial inputs, and it also includes Bluetooth 5.0 (with Qualcomm QCC5125 module) for wireless streaming. The internal conversion is handled by dual ESS ES9068 DAC chips, with a powerful XMOS XU316 USB interface, giving it the ability to decode very high-resolution formats, including native DSD512 and PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit.
The analog side provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs for use as a preamp, as well as a 6.35 mm headphone jack. The headphone amp supports a wide impedance range (16–300 Ω), making this unit versatile for both sensitive IEMs and more demanding full-sized headphones.
Control is multi-modal: you can use the front knob (which also lets you navigate menus), the included remote control, or a dedicated mobile app. Power is supplied via a low-noise switching power supply.
