The Horus 8S subwoofer is the ideal complement to the Horus 6B compact speakers and the Horus 11 floorstanding speakers . It will effectively accompany any stereo hi-fi system or home cinema system.
It is an active subwoofer with a “Down Firing” passive radiator equipped with a 20 cm active speaker and a 20 cm passive speaker , coupled with a 150 W RMS Class D amplifier. This process provides deep and punchy bass in a very compact format.
Thanks to the use of a reinforced and ribbed cellulose pulp membrane, the active & passive bass speakers demonstrate excellent power handling and pistonic behavior. They thus provide bass that is both generous and responsive.
